Slowly gaining the weight back?

I have a bad habit of weighing myself a lot when I know I shouldn't be, but this is ridiculous. My weight is driving me crazy. I haven't lost in 3 weeks, and I've gained 4 lbs. back (I only lost 5 in the first place). I don't look or feel like I've gained weight, which is why I'm kind of worried. I don't feel like I should be at this weight when I'm considerably smaller than when I started. How can I not worry so much about a number? I am considering having someone hide my scale for a few months and seeing how much weigh then.
Why am I not losing weight, but consistently getting smaller?
