Just wondering if anyone who has been succesful at losing has tracked sugar? I always tracked cals, fat, carb, proteing, fibre and sodium and have been working hard lately to keep my sodium under 2500. I have been pretty much same weight for past 7 months despite working out regularly (5x weekly) and maintaining calories for most part. I just started the 17 day shred today after I have seen lots of success with this program with my work out partners. Someone also suggested that I check out my daily sugar intake,
in which I responded that I never eat sugar...but sure ate my words today when I logged in at 80 grams!!! So...hopefully keeping check of my sugar may help me lose this pesk 25 lbs .....

I bet it will help to monitor sugar...I started monitoring my sodium after realizing how much I ate and it really helped me!! Good luck!0

i was shocked when i turned sugar on at first as well. its in everything! although there's also studies about fake sugars and sugar alcohols like malitol (found in sugar-free candy) that can have similar effects as sugar.
but yes, once i started tracking sugar and carbs is when i really started losing. good luck!0
