Hi to all of you! Week 3 was officially completed yesterday!
Today starts Week 4 Level 4.
Okay, Level 4 is a heart gurgled!!
In any event, it's time for a weekly check-in.
Post your stats!
Starting Week 1 - 9/21/11:
Weight: 182 pounds
Waist: 37.7 inches
Starting Week 2 - 9/28/11:
Weight: 179 pounds
Waist 37 inches
Starting Week 3 - 10/5/11:
Weight: 177 pounds
Waist 36.5 inches
Starting Week 4 - 10/12/11:
Weight: 175 pounds
Waist 36.25 inches
Well, the short of it is that I am pretty pleased so far with the last three weeks! I may have not lost a lot over all and only reduced a few inches, but everything is definitely tightening up and I'm seeing some positive changes on the abs. I can't wait to see the results at day 30 on October 20th. I might even be brave enough to post up pics from before 30 Day Shred, to after 30DS/beginning Ripped in 30 and after Ripped in 30.
About another week of this, then its on to 6 Week 6 Pack!
How are you all doing?

I call week 4 the "heart gurggler"!
I do not think it is physically harder, but the cardio incorporates elements of strength making it more intense and by cardio in the third circuit I am pouring sweat, out of breath and want to stop!
But I don't, I keep going! I push through it and the last set of abs I work until I can't (this is while she's being preachy after stopping, before the cool-down - you'll see!)
Push yourself to what you feel comfortable doing. You probably want to stop, but keep on going, modify on the fly if you have to.0 -
good to know. but does it get better after a few days, i wonder. that has been the case for me with both level 2 and 3. i feel a lot better about level 3 and i'm in the 6th day.0

Looks like today is the last day!
How has everyone done?0 -
I just started week 4 and it's actually a little less challenging than week 3 i believe. i think it's because in level 3 those tricep dips are so challenging for me. there are a few parts of level 4 that i find difficult but as a whole i think level 3 is harder. i was so pumped to get through the whole thing today. i could do without her meditation thing... it's ok but i was waiting for the stretch and wasn't in the mood for it today.
oh and i don't get the point of the plank walk thing and find it kind of easy. wonder if i'm doing it wrong. is it supposed to be like the bear crawl but you don't bend your legs and you're in plank?0 -

Stay in plank position the entire time small movements keep your hands directly under your shoulders flex the abs. I find the down ward dog with leg up to stomach weird, it doesnt do anything for me.0
