Totally Awesome NSV!!!!

So yesterday i went to visit someone i had a major crush on who works at the post office in a small town i used to live in almost one year ago. I went in, saw him and said Hi, he said hi back to me and just kept walking towards the back, this is someone i used to talk to all the time and carry on a conversation with every time i went into the post office. So i wondered why he wouldn't talk to me, he just kinda gave me a puzzled look like, "who the heck is she"? So he came back out and i asked him, "how have you guys been doing over here"? Well, it finally hit him who i was, took him a few minutes to figure it out! He then said, "omg, I didn't recognize you"! I said, "Well, i have lost a lot of weight, almost 100lbs"! I couldn't believe that it was that dramatic of a difference that he didn't even know who i was, it made me feel good though. Why the heck does he have to be married, that really sucks! I just thought this was too funny and had to share, now who else can i go see that i haven't seen since i've lost almost 100lbs and see if they know who i am? LOL I wonder, when i lose my next and final 58lbs, will my kids even know who i am anymore? Now i know what people mean when they say that a lot of women reinvent themselves after a divorce! Go us!!!!!!!!! ((Hugs))

That's cool! Similar thing happened to me a few months ago. This girl who I knew came up to me and we spoke for about half an hour since I have not seen her for months. The whole time I kept thinking, she looks different, must be that new lip piercing she has. So she left and I asked my friend if he saw a difference. Then he said yes she lost weight. Duh!

Well done on your loss and I agree, it's very funny when that happens.
I had a similar thing a couple of months ago when I met up with a friend I've not seen for about a year... she was standing waiting for me and as I was walking up the road towards her she continued looking up the street (straight through me!) looking out for the old me... it was only once I got quite close that she realised it was me! Hahaha.
The funniest bit was, for the first 10-15 minutes of us talking she kept just stopping, looking at me and saying "oh my god..." - it was very funny, but definitely felt good (if it a little uncomfortable, I never was good at accepting praise).
