Hi Everyone Just as the title says really, i am looking to get more accuracy into my calories in/out equation but having looked briefly on Amazon there seem to be so many HRMs on the market! All i really want it to do is accurately tell me how many calories i have burned instead of best guess with my pedometer or MFP.
Many thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions.

I love my Polar FT7...it got great reviews, you can change the battery yourself very easily, chest strap included, and lets you know if you are in a fat burning zone or an aerobic zone.0

I have a Polar F4 and have had it for a couple years and love it!.. I think I got it from Amazon.0

I have the Polar F11 HRM. It's customized to me - I have had it for 2 years and have no complaints. Seems like you can find them for as little as $50 on Ebay (new).0

Polar FT4 or FT7.. Best HRM you can buy.
Both are easy to use/set up and give accurate estimations of calories burned.0 -
Polar F40 here. Love it.0

Polar FT4 is awesome! I got all the opinons and the majority suggested some model of Polar. Everyone recommended that I get one with a chest strap for accuracy.
The Polar FT4 was the lowest cost model with chest strap and I LOVE IT! During workout it can show my heart rate, cal burned, where I'm at in the target zone, the time, how long I've worked out. AFTER it compiles all that and keeps track of your workouts.0 -
I have the Polar FT4 and it's wonderful!0

bump,
I'm looking to get one too,
can't choose between the Polar FT4, FT7 or FT60
interested to see what people say.0 -
I have the Polar FT60...and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Polar is the way to go no matter which one you choose. Check out their products and videos on their website and choose which is best for you. Then google it to find best price. Agree, Amazon and ebay are good places to shop online.
Good luck with your quest!0 -
I love my Polar FT7 as well!0
