So I think after I run out of some of my dairy in the house that no one else will eat but me lol I may slowly transition to a plant based diet, yes I just watched Forks over Knives and was amazed at the studies. If anyone would like to add me and bug me along the way about what I'm doin wrong or give me tips feel free Although there are a few things I will have on occasion I would like to be at a point where most of the time it's plant based. I will be the only one in my household doing this, my husband likes his animal protien so it might be a bit tough. Thanks.

I'd be happy to help. I went vegan last year and my wife still thinks I'm crazy! Can't beat the results nor how great I feel. Off to add you as a friend!0

I'm sorry I forgot to add I would like to stay away from Soy as well, some research I found I didn't really like so my personal preference is to not have it, thanks.0

Sent friend request!
That's a great film. Are you looking to cut out everything and go vegan? What are your ideal guidelines?0 -
I'll send you a friend request. I'm a recent vegetarian (August), working my way towards vegan.0

Well for right now I'm going to finish up some foods in the house I don't want to waste, yogurt, cottage cheese etc. Otherwise when those are gone I will be limiting my animal based protien to maybe 2-3 times a week, prob days when my husband and I have dinner together or we are a guest somewhere. I do like yogurt so I may just get smaller amounts. I do not want soy so things will also be soy free. I prob won't go completly animal protien free for now, but it may change in the future, so far I will start out slow and see how that goes.0

There are loads of alternatives to soy so don't worry about that : ) Rice and nut milks are delicious, you should definitely try them if you haven't already. A lot of my meat eating friends drink rice milk instead of cow milk simply because they prefer the taste! Any time you need advice or support just drop me a line, I'll be happy to help : ) xxx0

No soy meaning tofu, or no soy meaning all soy products (ie - shelled soy beans (edamame). I guess it doesn't really matter, plenty of other good sources of protein like beans and grains. There's also almond and rice milk. :bigsmile:0
