Workout and Eat....or Not

Yesterday, I got to the end of dinner, plugged in what I ate and was within a few calories of my allotted 1200 net calories per day...so then I asked myself, "Do I still need to workout?" If I workout then I fall below my "minimum" - do I then have to go eat something else or do I just skip the workout? I know all of the benefits of working out, but if I have a day like this and I'm still working out 5 days a week, is it OK to skip? I felt like I was being really lazy not working out but I was full from dinner and didn't really want to eat any more.

If you are already working out 5 days a week, i think it is okay to skip a day. You could also do an abbreviated version of your normal workout and have a healthy snack like apples in peanutbutter to give you more calories!0

I say workout. I am in the Air Force and I know how it is to miss even one day of your workout. Especially if you have a certain workout regimen. Another thing about working out, make sure you boost the intensity 1 week at a time and you will see AMAZING improvement in your fitness level. for example:
If you are running 2 miles at 4.5 3x per wk M-W-F, next week bump it up by .2 or increase the incline by 1.0.
