Pre-making breakfast sandwiches?
Hi All.
I love having a breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, English muffin, and some type of veggie or meat) in the morning... but my time is limited and I prefer to eat at work.... I would love to make them in advance so all I would have to do is heat it up at work... but my attempts have resulted in not so edible soggy sandwiches... :grumble: Do any of you make them in advance, what are your tricks… ? Help. Soggy breakfast is no fun.
Thanks in advance!

Yep, keep the bread, or english muffin in a seperate bag, and put your eggs, meat, veggies, and cheese in a plastic container. You can either heat them together, or heat them seperate and assemble. Either way they shouldn't be soggy, and should be just what you need to save time.0 -
I bought a little egg maker at walmart. All you do is crack an egg in it, stir, micorave for 1 min and yay! sandwhich
could take that to work with you
was like $40 -

I actually would make my sandwiches like that and freeze them. When I would take one out and heat it up, I didn't find mine soggy at all. I would cook my eggs and build the sandwich, wrap, cool, and then freeze.0
