i went into my setting and looked at how many lbs i set that i wanna lose a week. i looked at the difference between 1.5lbs and 2lbs and went back to my orignal setting. then i noticed that my calorie goal had gone from 1520 to 1470...anyone know why this is??? is it bc ive lost weight or did i do something wrong? thanks in advance and happy weight loss!

Your calorie intake went down because you lost 10 lbs. MFP resets your calorie intake every 10 lbs.0

When you lose 10lbs, MFP changes your goals automatically!!0

It's because you've lost weight. When you re-run the wizard, (e.g. looking at the difference between 1.5 and 2 pounds), MFP recalculates based on your CURRENT weight. Losing weight means your body isn't hauling around as much weight which means your BMR has gone down which reduces your caloric needs. It kind of stinks - like a punishment for losing. LOL. You'll notice the amount of calories you burn exercising drops too, for the same reason.0
