HI MFP Fam,

Ive recently found out I have an abusive relationship with scales. They are not a friend of mine when changing my lifestyle. Im eating healthy(calories always under 1300,and these are "good" calories) and active ( 30-70mins daily). Im sure Ill continue this because it feels great. However, plainly I must lose weight as well. SO since the scale is the new devil, please help me with tips on patience and motivation that you see. Tell me how long it took to see changes, WITHOUT THE SCALE telling you so. Id rather see it on my body anyway, but how long did it take you guys to see any results? I know everyone varies, so NO ONE say that again lol. I'd just like a little light on what I have to look forward to. Thanks MFP fam in advance! =)

Diet: WATER, H20, Aqua, chicken, center cut pork, turkey, etc. of lean means, veggies (really big on spinach right now), no sugar added canned fruit, fresh fruit, and beans. (I can honestly say so far Im having fun mixing all these up). Im a HUGE bread fan, but saving those carbs for a day when I think I really want them. So far so good =)

Excercise: Walking (Leslie Sansone), walking in neighborhood, elliptical trainer, dancing (dvds, fitness tv), swimming, squats daily, swimming . Thats all I have so far, but all of those I can stick with for life....and thats the point eh? lol

Anywho please help, so I can end that "bad relationship" FOREVER=)
