I worked out like crazy today, no particular reason--was watching a movie at the gym and stayed longer than usual. Anyway, it's 5pm and I have like 750 calories left. What the heck should I eat? I never have this many calories left..

What do you have left for available macronutrients? (PRO/FAT/CHO)?

    My initial answer: Steak.

I have like 70 carbs left, 40g protein, and plenty of fat (I eat pretty low fat, I never get to my "goal")

And I'm a vegetarian, otherwise the steak would be great! I can't even think of anything splurge-y that I want..

    Lean proteins(chicken, steak, fish)
a glass of milk or cottage cheese
    and some nuts or peanutbutter?
I usually eat something like that if I have alot of cals left from a long workout day. they have good amount of cals and you don't have to eat a ton.

    Ben & Jerry's

OMG I rarely crave ice cream but have been craving Ben & Jerry's today. I've been so tempted to walk to the store to buy some :embarassed: (I have 600 cals left...)

OP: mac and cheese definitely sounds yummy. Or make a nice sandwich with some spinach and tomatoes on a hearty piece of not-white bread?

Pizza and chips. That's my go-to high cal meal. Of course, that's if you wanted a less healthy way to get those cals in... healthier way would be to eat some whole grains, lean proteins, and some healthy fats. Like maybe a stir fry!

    Cake!

Monkey brain! Doused in Monkey spit, garnished with tufts of old monkey pubes, and stuffed up a Sperm Whales blowhole!

Seriously, it honestly doesn't matter. Just make sure you stay under that goal, and it's all good :)

Pizza is a good one, but the last 2 times I had it, the grease factor really threw me off! I am doing the mac n cheese and veggies, then I think I will have something sweet :)
  • The other night I chopped up bacon, tomatoes, and onions and put THAT in my mac and cheese.

    WOW!!!!! it was AMAZING
  • ...and yes I know bacon is a 'weight loss' no-no. I dont care. I'll binge on something way worse if I dont eat something yummy now and then!

Welllll, the mac n cheese was gross :( It was this all-organic Blake's brand I'd seen in the store. It was just insanely cheesy. WAY too much cheese.
