Is is a bad idea to workout or go for a run when you're sick? I've been a little down and out for a couple days, but I really feel like I should be doing something! I want to get back on my feet as fast as possible though, so is going for a run a definite no? Or if I bundle up and take it slow... Would that be alright? :(

Do some Hatha yoga (or athletic stretching). This is always good for your muscles, helps promote flexibility.

If you feel up to it, do it. If you feel like you're pushing too hard, do some stretching, maybe some pilates.

Defo depends on how you feel...listen to your body. Your immune sytem is low and so going to the gym where there are loads of bugs isn't a good idea. If you feel up to it, get some fresh air and go for a brisk walk. If you don't allow your body to recover it will take longer for you to get better and you will feel worse. Just make sure you eat sensibly too to boost your immune system and energy levels. I know its easier said then done!

If you are sick you need to just do what your body is telling you. If you feel like you are ok then you probably are BUT if your body is saying NOOOOO then no it is. I think if you push yourself too soon after an illness or an injury you are just going to hurt yourself in the long run. Really whats one more doy if you are sick.

Your body may need that energy for healing. I'm with other folks, listen to your body. If you feel like you have to do something, stretching, yoga, walking sound good

If you feel sick ABOVE the shoulders, then go ahead.
If you feel sick BELOW the shoulders, then rest. Simple pimple!

Take a walk if you feel like you absolutely have to get moving, but don't do anything too strenuous. Your body is letting you know it needs time to rest and recover, so give it that time. Take Zinc and Vitamin C and you'll be back to running before you know it!
