I'm wondering which is more important when it comes to weight loss and fittness in general. Is it better to walk at a brisk pace for an hour or jog for a half hour?

I've read that doing short bouts of intense intervals burns calories 4x faster than going lightly. It's all about getting that HR up. The higher you get the HR, the faster the rate of caloric burn.
That's why interval training is so popular. It accomplishes in 15 minutes what you may have taken 60 minutes to accomplish. Just note that "intervals" can be very very tough.0 -
It's also know as "burst" training...sprint for a distance, walk, sprint, walk. I'm going to start again next week. Because what I'm doing now isn't cutting it anymore. Good Luck!0
