...gloves?
Hey everyone,
I've been kickboxing for years and have never been able to find something that actually works to take the horrible smell out of boxing gloves.
I've used dryer sheets, sprays and I even hang them outside every day/night.
The smell is pretty bad (like most people's at my kickboxing gym) but I'm not ready to just toss my gloves out because of that... lol
Any tips? anything that works for you?

I used to do sparring for martial arts...I found that spraying deodorant in them helps. Also, cleaning them with an antibacterial spray like Odoban.0

This is going to sound weird but it works, wash them in the dish washer on a short cycle. Just make sure the heat dry is off and let them completely dry before using them.0

spray hydrogen peroxide after every use into them. At night, spray white distilled vinegar to get the funk out. Also, make some fingerless mittens out of old socks and wear them before you put your hands in your gloves. Sanda anyone?
happy training.

I gave up and bought open palm MMA gloves. I would HIGHLY reccommend switching over. A good pair will set you back $50 - just make sure you strap your wrists.0

fill a tube sock with baking soda and then put that sock it into another tube sock so that it doesnt leak the powder then tie off the end and slide it into your gloves when you are done using them.0
