How do you measure chicken, or sliced turkey?

I was making lunch (turkey franks) and noticed we had 4 slices of thin & trim turkey left, so I ate them, lol. I have tons of calories left for the day because I am doing a spinning class later, so I wasn't concerned. But how do you measure out slices? I added t to my food diary as 2 servings, each serving is 2 oz. Think that's ok?

I normally put it on a food scale, or in something that shows oz's.

Average slice is one ounce (or it's supposed to be). Sliced meats are difficult to gauge properly without a scale, so if you have one, don't be afraid to use it!

best case scenario: you guess, you are exactly accurate, and your food diary is "perfectly accurate"

worst case scenario: you guess, you are a little bit off, and your food diary is "pretty accurate"

either way, you are becoming aware of what you eat and thinking about the value of it. THAT'S the most important thing I have learned from this site.

Just do your best, and if you are afraid of underestimating, guess a little higher than you think it is.

I guess I'm going to have to get a food scale. I don't mind guessing, but some things I think it'll be hard to guess, like chicken breast and such.
