Just recently joined within the last month...I joined because I gained weight, and nothing was working for me, mainly because I need motivation to start back up. A friend of mine, told me about this website (which I love by the way!!), and said I should try it. So, here I am...not doing very well I might add. Most days, I am way under my calorie goal, and sometimes, I go over.

I'm just under 5'2", shrinking by the minute, so I am sure I'm about 5'1...I have an apple figure, so you know where my problem is! I have a mitro valve prolaspe, which limits me to not do high intensity work outs...I do Kickboxing, which I love, but I can't jog/run for a long period of time without getting light headed and winded... I wish I could work myself up to jog for 30 minutes, even if its slow..that would be one of my goals. My goal is to feel better about myself, and to feel like I am accomplishing something; while I lose the weight! I'd like to eventually get to 115, because I am so small

Here is where I need motivation and support.

The highest weight I've been is 155 (without being pregnant, had two kids), and I weighed myself, in this part of the journey at 147...8 lbs from being my highest weight! So here I am, trying to count calories/fat/sugar/carbs, whatever...Rethinking, relearning, all the healthy habits....and hoping I get some support and motivation!! Please Help!!

  • Hi There,

I have been using MFP since about April of this year, although when everything was going well for me I stopped using MFP and ended up gaining 8lbs over a month of holidays and I have been struggling to achieve the same level of motivation and haven't lost a 1lb!!
Luckily I still work out so that has prevented me from gaining more but I had to have a long hard think about my new goals ( I achieved my previous goal) and get back on track so today I am back on diet, but the thing that I have realised is that for me I need to be accountable and count my calories carbs and especially my protein!

So welcome it is very friendly here and friend request coming your way!!!
