Hi Guys
Tomorrow is going to be a disaster day for my MFP
I've got a big day out in the winerys with the girls= drinking from 10am till10pm and not much else!
I was just wondering what is your take on food intake for the day?
The way I see it I either
A) eat a normal breakfast and when food is available throughout the day and end up drinking more alcohol as I am less affected by it OR
don't eat and won't be able to drink as much alcohol
Thoughts??

Just take an "off" day and enjoy it.
Eat normal breakfast, go for healthy food choices if you can throughout the day and drink as much wine as you want (well, if you're not driving, that is).
Have fun!0 -

Go out and enjoy yourself, you deserve an off day every now and then...you are not a hardcore bodybuilder looking to compete.0 -
If you dont eat, that could lead to troubles. You would feel the alcohol more and then you would be mor elikely to select unhealthy choices throughout the day. I would eat normal breakfast, light healthy snacks throughout the day to keep food in your belly and then fill the rest of your belly with wine. Im thirsty just thinking about it.
YOu can also exercise a bunch today and not eat the cals back so you can "drink" them tomorrow. Good luck and keep us updated. Drink a bottle for me!0 -
I tell you what i do honestly when i know a night out drinking is gonna happen...
I have one large meal as late as i can in the day and i make sure its good food and a larger amount otherwise ill get too tiddly!
I have 1200 cals a day so id prob use like 600-700 on this meal0 -
Def eat! You do not want to be that girl that is face first in the toilet. Trust me Ive been there. Take an off day. Your body will appreciate it and you can get back into the routine the next day. Have fun0

I would just enjoy yourself... how many times do you get the opportunity to go to a winery? Just make healthy choices when you can.0

I was able to survive chocolate tasting last weekend, sure you can handle this one0

I'm going with the eat crowd. Don't punish yourself by not eating because you're going to have fun.
One day of eating and drinking is not going to kill your weight loss forever. Sometimes it can even be a good thing, sometimes it even seems to boost my weight loss. Just go out, enjoy yourself. Log it after and carry on like nothing happened.
Your weight loss should not control your life. Your weight loss should be enhancing your life. Going out and having fun is part of what makes life good.0 -
thanks for all the advice guys-very much appreciated... I think you're all right!
Will have a healthy breakfast and go from there....
PS soooo jealous of the chocolate tasting....did they have peanut butter chocolate by any chance?0 -
