Exhilarating shopping day!!

I stopped in yesterday to a thrift store - they have been invaluable in being able to keep myself in clothes as the weight comes off. The bonus is that I am wearing better 'name brands' than I have ever been able to afford in the past! LOL Anyway, I had taken a few pair of pants in to the fitting room and there was still a pair hanging there from the previous customer. They were cute and looked about the right size so I thought I might try them, too. When I checked the label they were size 8! (I'm currently in 10 and some of them are a tad loose.) I put them on and they fit!!! NEVER in my wildest dreams did I imagine that I would be wearing a 'single digit' size. Honestly, I did not get them because I didn't really like the style once I got it on, but even that is a huge victory. In days gone by if I had tried on a pair of pants in a thrift store and they fit I would have felt compelled to buy them because it was so rare to find anything to fit me. I'm having to 'relearn' shopping habits. It's a joy to be able to buy what I like and not just whatever fits!
