Hello all. I am curious as to why my daily recommended intake is 1200 cals and my sister's is the same. I weight about 60+ pounds more than she does. Can someone please explain? Thank you

1200 is the minimum calories per day that MFP allows. You probably have your goal set at 2 pounds per week so your calorie deficit is quite high. And even if she tried to do 2 pounds per week, MFP would still not allow her to go below 1200 calories.
That's like my mother and I. She's at something like 1450 for maintenance because she's only 130 pounds and very slight (FYI, she's set at sedentary and adds every chore so she's not starving herself). Meanwhile I get 1300 calories to try to lose at 186, an inch or 2 taller and a larger frame. Strange but true!0
