how many carbs?

Does anyone know how many carbs in a day is good? I find that MFP is too high.

  • If you think it is too high for you then try to switch your macro percentages.

    Mfp is set to 55% i set mine to 45% and lowering them to 40% soon

    are you going low carb? I try to keep mine below 100g/daily. Depends what you want to achieve. If you are eating proper complex carbs, getting 100g daily is actually a fair amount of food!

    I agree with the below 100 grams of carbs. Also make sure the carbs you eat are from fruits, veggies, and grains; not from junk foods like cookies and cakes.

    Yeah I noticed that too, but that's pretty normal based on the FDA's recommendations. When protein is as low as they recommend the need to find another macro to make up the calories is defaulted to carbs. I personally eat around 150-200 carb a day and I eat about 500 calories more than this site tells me to for maintenance as well, so take what this site recommends with some apprehension.
