Friday motivation...

I normally take the wkends off of dieting to give myself a little reward for doing good through out the wk. I'll go out to a restaurant, eat a slice of cake or pie, etc... But I swear by the time Mon comes around, I've gained 5lbs. I'm not starving myself and I don't over indulge when I give myself my "reward", but why the heck does it seem to happen all the time I give myself a break? any suggestions, besides not giving in???
