high calorie snacks

I'm in need of some kind of high calorie snack. I've just managed to drag my body out of starvation mode and I need to eat something after a major workout as I don't want to have such a massive deficit. Doing this was what put me into starvation mode in the first place!
Any help you can offer would be much appreciated!

How about nuts? They are high in calorie, but full of "good" fats.0

Avacado also has the "good" fat. Maybe slices with crackers?
Or celery & peanut butter or a peanut butter sandwich.
Balance bars (or other energy bars) are good too. About 200 calories, and well balanced with carbs/protein/fat and some nutritional value.0 -

or you can have your nuts in peanut butter...even more calories and "good" fat!
(I just realized, that sounds kind of bad, but I think you know what I mean. )0 -
Toasted English muffin with peanut butter (Optional: topped with cheese and sweet pickles. What? I like to experiment! =p).0

Don't know where you are so don't know if you get these:
Dr Karg Pumpkin Seed and Emmental Cheese crackers - just over 100cal per cracker, can be kept in an airtight container, take no effort to prep and I think they're yum!0 -
Peanut butter and apples0

Any day that I do my workout I'm always in a huge deficit because I still try not to eat the exercise calories back, staying around 1300-1400, sometimes 1500 and my workouts always put me over the 2000 mark...but I don't think I've been in starvation mode for the last 285 days!0 -
Oatcakes with peanut butter and honey - two of those make up my post-run snack and come to 226 calories (I'm generous with the toppings)0

I have a protein shake after every workout....helps rebuild muscle and is good when you are on low cal diets.
Have you considered that?0 -
How do I know I was staring my body? I've lost 29lbs and my body fat hasn't shifted hardly at all. My muscle was wasting away. THAT is how I know I was starving my body.0
