So many things have happened today. Some good, others not so much.
*ONEderland. I lost another 1.5 lbs, although I wanted that number to be 5 but I didn't give it my all for the 5. Still, less is less and that's always good. And, I stepped into onederland.
*400 SUGAR CALORIES!! I had promised my older daughter I'd buy her a donut if she behaved well during the week. She did, so we stopped at a Krispy Kreme. I was determined not to eat one but one of those nice, mean, free donut giving employees put one warm, glazed donut in my hand without me even noticing. Next thing I knew I had eaten the donut I was determined not to eat. I also ate half of a delicious chocolate creme filled halloween donut I bought for my kid. 400 sugar calories!!!
*Met the ex-boyfriend's wife and son. I went to a funeral service for a friend's mother and among many people, there was my ex-bf with his wife and baby. I thought it might be weird but it was not at all! I also saw many people I hadn't seen in ages and I didn't feel insecure like I thought I would. I guess I am feeling better about myself. Those crazy hormones are finally settling somewhere else other than my head!
*Pizza and sangria. To finish the night with flying colors, we went for pizza. I was starving but that didn't stop me from eating only 2 slices. I almost went for the 3rd but decided that after the donut disaster it probably wasn't a good idea.
Overall (and after reading myself in here) it wasn't all too bad. I used to eat 4-6 Krispy Kremes in one sitting and easily 5-6 slices of pizza in one dinner. So, self-control = self-esteem lift-up. It's all good!!
My dear MFPs, keep up the good work. Your successes and support fuel many like me to keep going. Someday I hope to be one of those success stories to encourage others to keep losing what they don't like about themselves.

Congratulations on what you have achieved today. I know how hard it is to stop at one donut etc. I'm like that with chocolate etc.
Keep up the great work.

An encouraging story, thanks for sharing. And well done on the donut thing - they're a weakness of mine, too!0
