Just ordered the 30 day shred? How do YOU like it?

Love running but everyone has motivated me to order the 30 day shred DVD from Amazon! Only $7.60 YAY! I am soooo excited! Thanks for all the motivation! But just curious how everyone likes it and do you follow levels or switch it up?

    Great price! I love the Shred - it was my first Jillian DVD - kicked my butt, but I needed that! I did each level 4-5 days a week for around 2 weeks I think (it's been awhile). It took me longer than 30 Days to 'finish' just because life got in the way and I'd miss more workouts than I wanted. But once I got through a few weeks of Level 3, I went back to Level 1 and used heavier weights. Then I'd skip around each week, do whichever level I wanted and just added more weight if I felt I wasn't working hard enough.

    It's a good program. My On Demand service has the first 2 levels on Exercise TV for free and I do a routine here & there when I need a quick workout or need to change it up.

    I didnt like it.
    I found that doing the same level for 10 days, became incredibly boring after day 3.
    Pluss the only cardio in it is jumping, which is ok, but it gave me a headache from accidentally hitting the ceiling.

    I can't do it everyday or I would prob injure myself from overworking my body, but I do it about 3 times a week for my muscle regimen.

    I tried it and found it to be too easy. It got my heart rate up at times but I like to work up more of a sweat than that.

    I had great results from this DVD. I did it everyday and lost a total of 10.5 inches and 7 lbs. My arms and legs lost the most. I am going to pick up the RI30 today and do it on days I do not do the C25K..... She is annoying and by a few days in each level it does get boring but I would mute her and turn up the music and that helped so much. I wouldnt recommend boucing around the levels until you complete the program because each level is harder..... Good luck
