A little over a year ago I made a change and have now surpassed my goals. I find myself struggling at this point because I think "now what".... I honestly don't think I have much if any fat to lose (and maintain the look I like) and the only thing I may want to do is get a little more cut. I'm starting P90X MC2 when it comes but am afraid of getting bored or burnt out until then. Now that I am at my goal I also find myself disappointed in what I see as smaller calorie burns.. is this normal? I burn 233-300 per Insanity workout and about the same with P90X.

I've almost reached my goal twice. I'm just going to set it lower and keep going (I've still got plenty to lose).

I've been over 200 lbs since high school. I thought at 190 I would be super skinny. Well, I'm certainly skinnier, but I think the BMI scale isn't so insane anymore. I'm at about 186 lbs and will probably settle to a BMI of Normal at 174 lbs and re-evaluate.

It's probably a different situation than you, but just take a good look at yourself in the mirror and decide what you need to do by yourself. Though, I wouldn't go underweight on the BMI scale.

I have not reached my goal yet but have you done RevAbs? I have never anyone complain about their core being too strong. The workouts are not as intense as P90X or Insanity but it's another good Beachbody program.

I havent' reach goal yet, but it would make sense that as you become more fi,t the exercises you do become easier for your body to do, so you will burn less calories. Sorry probably not the answer you want to hear. You could go hog wild and gain it all back so you have a new goal to work on again. Sorry, BAD joke. I think that now you should set a goal to maintain your weight. That might be harder than you think. The other goals you can set are things like running a marathon, trying new workouts etc..

Congratulations on your success. I do hope you find some satisfaction in it.

The less you weight the less calories you burn, it is normal and it makes sense.

Just keep on going and have fun with your workouts and if you feel that you are getting bored, change the routine/workout and try something else. There are tons of DVDs in the market or get a trainer that can introduce you to additional and fun routine.

Challenge yourself to something different or more difficult. Above all, change your attitude, from “now what,” to “cool, what can I do now.”

Since you don't have more weight to lose the pressures is off, so think that you are doing this to be healthy, sexy, and trim and toned.

Enjoy your life and congratulations on reaching your goal. I am also in maintenance and having fun with my workouts. However, since I am much older than you the "cut" doesn’t come easy or at all.

Have a great and fun weekend!

Yup your body has become in better shape there for your endurance, strength,& metabolic rate is functioning properly ,you have achieved a point that what was normally burned during exercise routines aren't going to be the same if you don't push harder than what you did prior to becoming fit, therefore you have to push past your old limits and push harder to burn more calories but its not as necessary to do so if you are happy with where you are with the current shape you are in,maintaining is different than reshaping/scripting your body if you eat properly, and exercise and haven't noticed negative effects than your ok & maintaining great ,so unless you are trying to build more lean muscle mass or lean out further then you are doing fine.
