My wife is a flight attendant for 16 years now, she started when she was young, she is now 38 and the way she handles it is quite unique. Since we are workout partners the days that she fly and she is in a hotel room she will go to their gym and do the workout that we would normally do just scaled down or she takes either p90x with her or Insanity and she does that. Sometimes by the time her plane gets in and she had trudged through the terminal and gotten check in to her room she is too tired to do the gym so she will use the dvds. When she fly at night or time zone change she keeps her schedule the same .. so if she is in San Fran even though it may only be 6pm there it's technically 9pm for her and she will go to bed .. she is very disciplined with that .. she tries very hard to bid lines that do not incur flying at night but if so she treats it like a night job where she is up early to get a workout in and then bed for a few hours before flight check in ... i tried giving the short version if you have specific questions let me know .. hope this helped

Thanks. She is so good to be so strict with sleep patterns. Its interesting as I started at 20 and have done 16years as well. I am longhaul and work for an airline with no bid lines just automatic rostering but am gonna try to implement the sleep thing.
Thanks and safe flying to her

you're welcome and no problem safe flying to you as well .. being married to a flight attendant i understand how hard it can be on you, and TV makes it seem glamorous but i personally know it's work .. be well and take care
