For example i've been up since 7:00ish this morning and will be up until 2am. Does this mean since I've been up so long i can go a little over on my calories? Why or why not? Thank you!

I work night shifts and have to same problem, I do have a couple of tricks, raw veggies and water, you can eat a whole lot of em' for few calories (just be careful of dip, if you use any, I use just a weeny little bit) also aftfer midnight, it's a new day! Hope that helps and good luck with your journey!0

Also, if you can, squeeze a workout in there to get more calories too!0
