i was reading through some nutritional advice just now and came across an article on calcium in regards to weight loss, i thought id share it incase it helps any of you shift those last stubborn pounds:)
You’re trying to lose weight
You need calcium.
“I just can’t seem to lose those last few kilos” is a complaint many of us have had in our fitness endeavours. You may be surprised to find out that something as simple as boosting your calcium intake can help shed kilos of unwanted body fat. Research indicates that calcium plays a direct role in suppressing appetite with low levels of calcium stimulating hunger signals from the brain.
RDI levels
The RDI for calcium is quite high and set at 1,000 mg a day as Calcium absorption may be reduced by excessive caffeine and alcohol, soft drinks containing phosphates and diets high in animal proteins. Calcium is also continually lost from your body each day through your skin and nails, sweat, and urine.
The Sources: A cup of high calcium milk, cottage cheese and yoghurt all make excellent calcium sources.

I suggest searching vegetables that offer calcium. I know that tofu and broccoli is a good source of calcium.0 -

Collard greens 357 mg
Turnip greens 249 mg
Tempeh 215 mg
Kale 179 mg
Soybeans 175 mg
Okra 172 mg
Bok choy 158 mg
Mustard greens 152 mg
Tahini 128 mg
Broccoli 94 mg

Almonds, flax seeds, and brazil nuts. I think there is some type of calcium supplement in the form of a chocolate chew that is supposed to be good.0

oh gosh, didn't even read the part about suppressing appetite. I have been struggling to eat enough - I do not want to suppress my appetite at all! hmm0 -

Right as it pertains to losing weight after a certain time. ie... the last few stubborn pounds.
I recommend a %bodyfat because some(not all) might be a pretty low % already.0
