can anyone help me?
i do a body pump class that is designed by les mills which is found in gyms internationally.
description: a rapid fat-burning class that uses barbells to give you the fastest way to tone and condition muscles.
when i typed in strength training in the database and put in my time and weight etc the calorie count was way to low for the workout that is done? (240cals)
whereas the class description burns between 400-600 cals?
does anyone else do pump and found a way to more accurately log it?

I"m a Group Power instructor - it's nearly identical to Body Pump. I count a 1 hour session as 300 calories. I use the heaviest weight I can throughout the class (partly because I am supposed to be a role model for the participants) so I think I'm in the right range. I've read that the "burn" from weight training continues for up to 24 hours, especially if you are using an appropriate amount of weight. Keep written or mental notes on how much weight you are using; if you can't get through all the reps in a track you are using too much weight and may hurt yourself, and your form will suffer. If the track ends and you feel like you could keep going, add a little more weight next time.0

For what you are describing, go with circuit training.0
