After 7 months, I've grown to love an afternoon jog. Soon the weather is going to suck, but I want to continue! Looking to buy new warm running gear to help.

What are your suggestions for running gear during the Fall and Winter seasons?

The under armour mock neck compression long sleeve shirts. Fantastic! You barely need a top layer. SO warm!

Multiple thin layers. My top layer is usually a Brooks Nightlife jacket. It's bright and reflective, as well as wind and wetproof.

thin layers of dri-fit type material. Racing gloves (check a running specialty store, these are lightweight and not like regular heavy gloves or mittens) and dri-fit hat or headband. You should be comfortable before the run but not over dressed or warm--you will get overheated in a heavy coat or outfit.

Stay away from all-cotton socks because when they get damp they'll hold in the moisture--brrr...

I just did my first half marathon in 38 degree weather and multiple, light, dri-fit layers were perfect :)
