In the night-time...

I have a really big problem. For some reason, food seems to taste better and have less calories after midnight, lol. All jokes aside, I have this big problem with eating in the middle of the night. And not good for you stuff either. Last night it was a pack of M & M's I found in my son's room. Sometimes, it's chips. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to curb this night-time hunger? I feel so lost.

Think before you reach. How much do you want this? Don't make excuses. Get a good book and maybe leave some calories for the late night snacking. Mine is low fat popcorn, every night. I don't eat breakfast because I know I'm a late night eater and am not giving it up. Lunch is my first meal of the day except for coffee with little low fat milk and 1 tsp of sugar. Good luck:flowerforyou:0

i agree with dls06 ... It's really hard to not reach and then eat chocolate or chips that are really bad for you. I find that buying the baked lays chip packs to have for a snack that are less than 150 calories craves the salty i want but with less calories and alot less fat. as for chocolate i usually get The "smart ones" chocolate cihp cookie dough ice cream which is about 170calories. which that helps me stay away from cookies and not over eat ice cream!!
hope this helps. & remember to always think if you really need it?? i ask myself every time i look at something and am about to grab something really unhealthy. Then i think about what i'm trying to do and what that unhealthy snack will ruin. I haven't had a junk food in almost 2 months it gets hard at times but in the long run i'm making myself better & healthier!!0 -
It's not really a matter of curbing it, its more like taking control. Your mind is your controller, but you are the one steering it. Be strong and keep yourself strong, the outcome is of fitness its a lot more worth it than 250cal fat-ladden M&M's that will only satisfy you for that moment. You can do it, commit, commit, commit.0
