I have been to the gym for the last week and everyday I want to push myself more and more. I do the treadmill everytime I go and I want to do 1 hour each time walking from 3.0 to 3.5. Well I pushed myself today I did 90mins today walking 3.0 -30min 3.5- 45min and 4.0 -15 min. I just want to tell everyone to try and push yourself everyday even if its 5 extra mins or a higher speed for 5 min JUST DO IT. I tell you I felt soooooo good today afterwards. I am going to reach my goal and stick with my new lifestyle. We all can. If you have not did it today get up and do it. Don't forget the water :drinker:

Thanks for that. I have not been pushing myself for the last few weeks. I was sick and been really busy and thought ive not had the time.( Not telling myself the truth):grumble:
Thank you so much!!:flowerforyou:0 -
That's awesome Jennlos -- I have been feeling the same way since last night's Biggest Loser all I can think about is how hard they push and how sometimes I just go through the motions. I went to the gym this morning to a Step Sculpt class and pushed as hard as I could. There were alot of times I wanted to quit and a few times where I had to just walk in place to catch my breath but I made it and I feel alot better too!
Have you tried mixing up your treadmill walking with different elevations - when I do that I burn alot more calories and faster. I like to really mix it up and if it's too hard just stay at that level for like 3 minutes and then move it down, another good way to push!
Thanks for the reminder on the water -- that is the hardest thing for me!0 -
I work out with a group at the YMCA on weekdays. We work out around 50 min a day. I go in early to do strength training for my upper body and about 20-30 min more cardio. On Saturday, I work out on my own. I'm looking for a Saturday workout buddy. Last Saturday, I thought the Y closed at 8, and it closed at 6. I missed going to the Y. I worked out on my Mom's treadmill.
The first two weeks of working out was fun. It's becoming torture now. :grumble:
This recent 5lbs has been back and forth. One day it's gone and the next it's back. It's gone today.0 -

Yep! I can proudly say I did. Thanks for the reminder to applaud myself for these little victories.
I went in with the intention of running my two miles and I ended up running 2.5 and walking another .5, then doing 12 min. on the stairstepper and some lunges.
Go us! :drinker:0
