Flexing or distorting...photo shopping your photos.

I would just like to say I think its sad and obvious as heck. When yoour hand looks deformed or you can clearly see you've done something to your armpit, shoulder, stomach etc. We all should be proud of who we are and that were making an effort to better ourselves and change our lives, fake progress...sad. It doesn't do anything for anyone, especially the person posting photoshopped pictures. This is a real site for real people trying to get in shape and be healthy with real pictures of real progress. Noone wants to see fake or real pictures with fake results! Cheers to all you being real, and proud of who you are!:drinker:
P.s. If it isn't already COMPLETELY obvious, all you have to do is zoom on the picture to see the distorted pixels. Eeeesh!

I haven't noticed any fake photos. that is quite sad, I agree. be the person you're pretending to be. work you a*s off and make it happen!0

That's a lot of energy to spend. Both the photoshopping, and the worrying about others' photoshopping.0

yeah well its pretty obvious when someone makes a post on the message boards about losing all kinds of weight and clearly has photoshopped photos. Noone else is gonna say it I will! Its offensive to people like myself who have worked our butt offs (literally) to get where we are.Its a shame when you go to a progress pictures thread hoping to connect or see others who have worked hard too and its phtoshoped. Once again, offensive and sad...and might I add, that you all looked at this thread and commented....sooooo alot of worrying and time huh?!0 -
I hadn't noticed anybody doing this.
That really is a lot of worrying to do about somebody else, I agree.0 -
Does seeing these photos hinder your progress?0

There's only 2 things I like being fake.
Boobs, and orgasms.
And I can appreciate a good faked death scheme. I think we all can.0 -

Of course not, I've reached and surpassed my goal loooong ago....it's just very very sad.0 -

I actually really like a good challenge or debate...like I said if noone else is gonna say it. I will.0 -
Glad you said it, what's the purpose of doing that?! I can't wait until I reach my goals so I can post real pics! I know this is a quote, not sure who said it though but, "I'd rather be hated for what I am than loved for what I'm not"0

I'm clicking all over success stories looking for these fake pics now, LOL! So far can't find it.
Actually one of my best NSVs EVER is using a photo that is NOT photoshopped - that is HUGE for me and I'm very proud and happy about it!0 -
Occasionally I come across pictures that have been either squished horizontally or stretched vertically to make the person seem taller/ thinner. I don't see it often here (only saw it ONCE on MFP, and I think the poster just wanted to make sure it fit within the forum width); it's a bit more common on other sites, however. When I do see it, it drives me up the wall.
If you're going to photoshop it... at least do it RIGHT! Don't make it such an obvious eyesore!0 -
It's not lying if that six pack is just in disguise as a pot belly y'know....0

It's funny. I was playing with a picture on photoshop once and made the mistake of making my nose thinner. OMG I should NEVER have done that! Now I want a nose job, of course.
I have never seen a picture on here that looked photoshopped. Could it be that this person still had some hangups, but wanted to share their pics anyway? Like they lost the weight, but hated this spot or that?
Cheers everyone. :drinker:0 -

I did see one where the person was obviously sucking their stomach in hard. But not noticed any photoshopped ones. Yet. You can bet I will be looking though. :bigsmile:0

Never noticed it...0

I have seen it on this site, also. Those that I've seen tend to have a little distortion going on in other places, is my guess.0

Glad I'm not the only one, no your hiding six pack doesnt count lol your in the clear. You all have me laughing over here lol0
