Has anyone tried it? Not looking for negative comments. It was just something I read in a very informative article and wanted to know some opinions on it.

i've heard that it can be just as helpful as a calorie spike day. i don't know too much about it. i just like to eat too much. but i might give it a try if i read some good information about it.0

I was JUST on youtube looking at people who have done this. &&& For the people who want to leave NEG comments I want them to know they can get kicked off of the website. I started a discussion about fasting and my discussion got LOCKED and an administrator threatened to remove people. :-) I'm trying intermittent fasting right now. I JUST started.0 -
It's a strategy that many have found useful, nothing more, nothing less. It takes a little time to adapt to, but you have the benefit of enjoying larger meals, since you are consuming your calories within a smaller time frame.
Try it out and see if it works for you.0 -

Wow, just read the first one and I think I might try it this week. 2x on nonconsecutive days in 7 days doesn't sound bad and going from 6pm to 6pm means your not going the whole day without food. I think I could do that.0 -
You reckon it would be a good idea for breastfeeding mums? because I would like to try it but I'm scared of not giving my baby enough nutriends, on the other hand... I've got loads of storage already, which could help me lose even more weight, but yeah, a bit scared of trying just in case.0

I doubt it would cause you any problems, but if you're worried about it go with the Leangains-style rather than ESE.
Look at this way, I'm sure that there are several Muslim women who breastfeed during Ramadan, but you don't see too many problems with their babies.0 -
Absolutely not for nursing moms! Your baby gets most his/her nutrients from your diet. Eating right and well is essential for your baby.0

in IF you eat the same number of calories as you would in a normal day, you just fit them into a certain eating window. Eat stop Eat is a little different with 24 hr fasts0 -

I've been doing the IF for about 30 days 18/6 style and I can't say it's improved weight loss but it has improved my energy levels and my workouts have been better. I'm doing a combination of 18/6 IF and the Spike Diet and I'm continually losing 1.5 to 2.5 pounds weekly.0

After reading Martin's website a bit I thought I'd try IF 18/6 for a change. After 5 days I can say that it fits into my schedule and I don't miss eating breakfast. I enjoy the larger meals and feel more satisfied. Xtend is pretty damn good tasting too.
It seems that after bringing several new moderators on board that many additional threads are being locked. That's too bad.0 -

Thank you, reading about it now, although the first link is talking about fasting for 16 hours, I only find that easy to do if I'm asleep... lol.. Uhm .. perhaps if I express milk before hand and freeze it for those days of fasting it shouldn't be a problem, that way my baby still gets the normal amount of nutrients and vitamines of a normal day.Absolutely not for nursing moms!
