Hello friends! I wanted to post a little happy.
When I started dieting, I was wearing size 44 pants pretty comfortably. Not too tight, just right. After a couple months, I was glad I still had some 42's sitting around, and had to start wearing those.
After that, I went into my closet, where I had kept all my old clothes from before I ballooned up...I always had the sense that I was going to lose weight, and refused to throw out my clothes, as I felt like that was giving up on being in shape. So I dug out the 40's from when I was like 20 (I'm 28 now).
Those 40's have started getting a little loose. So this week Im on vacation in Panama City, and I went to the store just to find out...and I can very comfortably fit a size 38 now. If anyone's droped down a digit like that, I'm sure you know how awesome that feels! 44 to 42 is a loss, 42 to 40 is nice....but 40 to 38, that feels like the biggest drop of all! I've been saying my goal is a size 36, so I may be there soon enough. Still 20 pounds or so from my goal weight, but Im getting there.
Have a couple of pics below. Just posting links, cause I can't figure out how to embed pics.
The first is me is about July at the beach in Hilton Head. I'm wearing 42's in that. I'm using this pic for obvious reasons...I'm in the same outfit. It's not a drastic before-and-after, but I think it's clear enough that some progress has been made!

Can't see the pictures - but that's awesome!! I had a similar experience this weekend.... I started out in size 24 jeans (on January 1 this year) and now I am wearing a size 14 jeans - 81 pounds down!
Keep up the awesome work!!

i know exactly what you mean. I was trying on a pair of 38's yesterday, not expecting them to fit, I couldn't believe it when I was able to fasten and there was some extra room. Going from 44 to 38 feels awesome! Good job on your loss and keep up the great work.0

Way to go. I'm a little frustrated that 17 lbs down and I still have not gone down a pant size. Still at 36, and my old 34s are not even close to happening. I don't know where the weight is coming from.0
