GEC Challenge...Week 3....Recovery

Part 3 of the GEC challenge series is.....Recovery. All programs need to have a period of recovery. It's essential to proper restoration and growth. So for this week,add in an extra 30 minutes a day of stretching. There will be an exercise list posted daily. With that being said,today's exercise will focus on opening up the back.
Find a bar,railing,etc....stand back far enough to be able to still grab the bar with both hands. Feet should be shoulder width apart. Now drop your hips as deeply as you can. Now pull against the bar and SLOWLY start to straighten your legs. When you have them as straight as possible,hold that position for a solid 10 count now repeat.
Adding this exercise to what you already can only enhance flexibility and muscle recovery.
