hi all
I just had to join as my partner laura has been on here for months and it's all she talks about and ofcourse her fitness.
A little bit about myself.
I'm 45 years young(lol) I cycle 20 miles to work and back 5X a week and try to play golf once a week. I weigh 178 pounds and I'm 6ft small(lol) I think I'm a bit of a sporty type but I think Laura would like to so a few pounds more on me.
I have weighed up to 210lbs before when I did some weight lifting and played American football(TE).
So I'm going to see how long it take me at my age to put on 22lbs of muscle mass. So I'm up for any tips and new friends and who knows maybe I might even go for more.

Protein, lots of lean protein - fish, for example. And strength training - add a 30 to 45 minute weight training regime to your schedule a few days a week.0

Yes Mark lots of protein, you know those shakes that you hate seeing me drink. Glad you joined to see what all the hype is about. I have met some fantastic people on here that keep me motivated and cheer me on. Facebook ain't got nothin on MFP!!0
