Any tips for cutting into pitta's and stopping them sticking together in middle and ends?

I got some gluten free ones but they were a tatty mess by time I'd tried to cut one open!

I don't know about gluten free ones, but sometimes heating them up for a very short time (even 10 sec. in the microwave) will help. Good luck!

I just use a sharp knife. I have new knives, so it works. Maybe cut them in half like a pie, then you only have to get the middle open and leave the ends together so you can fill it with tasty items. Pita Pocket!

Dampen a paper towel. Very wet. Place the pita bread on a plate in the microwave with the paper towel covering them and warm them for about a minute. That usually does the trick. Keeps them from crumbling and splitting.

i put mine in the toaster for a few mins and that makes them puff out so there easy to cut coz u only have to cut a little way through it, not sure if gluten free ones r a different texture though. hope that helps.x
