Just wondering if anyone has lost weight or toned up and had much said to them from your partner? My husband doesn't say much unless I say something, wondering if it just doesn't matter or if I have been married too long lol!

It means he loves you just the way you are!0

LOL No not very often...honestly I think it is just such a touchy subject that he stays aways at all costs! no matter what!0

My husband has always told me that i am sexy....and he tells me everyday how beautiful i am....we have been married for almost 12 years and i never get tired of hearing it :flowerforyou:0
-
My ex has noticed, but she's not allowed to have me. Hahaha!0
-
Haha...my boyfriend doesn't say much either unless I mention myself.I think he is comfortable with me just as I am so it doesn't matter much to him how I look.0
-
I sure hope he does! He always tries to compliment my body, especially my insecurities whenever he can though .0

My husband and I have been together for 19 years and he notices! When he puts his arms around me, he tells me that my sides feel tighter. Thus why I've been married to him for so long LoL :laugh:0

Mine has been very supportive. At first he did not say much, guess he figured it was another failed attempt (smile). But once I had to start buying new clothes he really started being my biggest supporter/cheerleader.0

My husband has been very supportive and often points out my weight loss to others in the family. He says things like "Doesn't she look good? She has been working out." It's cute and makes me feel great.0

Mine's the same - only ever says anything if I mention it first! We've been married almost 15 years - so I'm putting it down to that!!0
-
lol i think a lot of SO's forget to tell us. My fiancee only says, "i'm proud of you, keep going!" because i'm definitely sensitive to hearing things about my weight and looks But the words "i'm proud" mean a lot to me.0

Mine says nothing usually.. this weekend though he grabbed my pants and noticed how much room there was and said something.. but usually he says nothing.0

He's noticed that my boobs have gone!!!0 -
My hubby doesn't say anything so I make a point to mention it. I think it's just because we've been married for a long time. LOL0
-
My hubby noticed a difference when i hit the 7 pound mark ;0) and he tells me everyday how proud he is because i have never stuck to any other weight loss program and never lost more than a few pounds ! How long have ye been married ?0
-
because they see you everyday changes over the short term are not noticeable (day to day) if you looked at older pictures when you were larger he would be more likely to notice.0

Hahaaha!! :laugh:0 -
Mine keeps pretending that he can't see me when I turn sideways. He's like, "Hey, where did you go??? You disappeared!"0

I know my hubby loves me the way I am. When he hugs me, he often says that there's less of me to hug, or notices that I look better in a certain top that used to be too small for me. Been married 6 years, together for 90

My wife tells me all the time, she finds me sexy. But as far as noticing a difference, since she sees me all the time, it's the same as me... Doesn't see much until you bust out old pictures. Then we both say 'WOW'. It's a good feeling. You're more likely to hear about it from people that don't see you as often because they don't see the gradual change like an S/O would.0
-
Mine notices because he's gone over long periods of time (Think six months at a time) and when he comes home he always picks me up and twirls me around0

I put a long sleeve shirt on the other day since it was chilly and my husband told my son, "that shirt looked like spandex on mama last year." I told him, "that deserves a punch!" Lol. My husband is really supportive, but doesn't usually say too much and that's probably why. He means well, but it doesn't sound like a compliment all the time.0

My husband always says things about my changing shape!!! How proud of me he is!!!0
-
I impressed my boyfriend by doing planks longer than him ! Definitely noticed then!!0

My hubby knows I'm losing weight because I tell him when I hit 5 or 10 lb marks, but as far as him saying something about it on his own --- NOPE! Not a word. He says it's because it's a touchy subject and somehow I always find a way to twist his words and make him sound like a bad guy... not true, but whatever. I know I look better so that's really all I care about. He's never been a guy that throws out compliments to me, so I never really expected him to be overflowing with positiveness anyway. I wish he said more and helped boost my confidence a little bit, but oh well... what can I do.0

my hubby doesnt say anything either. sometimes its rather discouraging, i think sometimes we need to hear "wow, you look like youve lost weigh" from someone thats important to us, it helps keep me motivated.0
-
He sees me every. single. day. so it's tougher for him to notice changes in my body right away.
This works out when I gain weight, too, I never get any "Ummmm.... have you gained weight?" type comments. Though I'm sure he's smarter than that! :laugh:0 -

LOL!!! That is a man for ya!!!0 -
I think it's harder for those who see us every day to notice. I figure it's kind of like a "live by the sword, die by the sword" type of thing.... For example:
My husband NEVER said a word to me about how much weight I was gaining, so it would be a little hypocritical of me to be upset for him not saying much about my welght loss.
Eventually they will notice... in the meantime, that's what we are here for! Stay strong!0 -
Mine mentioned my backside this weekend and told me my butt was getting smaller. I pointed out the Progresso Soup commercial the next time it came on. "You checkin' out my butt?"0
