Things in the Office that Torture You

I'm sitting here at work and everyone around me eats at their desk. This doesn't bother me in the least as I do as well. But today someone nearby as french fries. Potatoes are my weakness. I want to just go grab all their fries and chow down. They smell so ridiculously good. That's my office torture for the day. What's yours?

I work in a multiple-dept office. Payroll is very near me........they decided last week that the WHOLE DEPT would take their lunch break at the same time..............putting their phones on voicemail, which is okay.
BUT they fail to realize that we have walk-ins who need help. So far, it's not been horrible.

but I picture the day when there's a big line of people waiting for something, and I can't help them, and they're going to REVOLT

I once worked with a woman who they put in charge of implementing a new software program to run the plant. I was placed with her as her assistant.

The only problem was, albeit nice, she barely had enough knowledge to turn on a computer much less implement a program to control the entire operations of a plant. Even though we never shared an office, I would hear a symphony of critical stops every day for months (before I left). She also didn't realize there were volume controls on her speakers. Yeeeeeah, I don't much like Windows system error sounds.
