My husband checks with me almost every time he's asked. He says he's got better things to think about. I told him that's fine as long as he forgets how old I am, too.

I told everyone I was turning 34 this year. Turns out, I'm only 33! My initial reaction is to tell people I'm 25. Must have been a good year for me. :)

I have a habit of making myself a year older than I really am. I completely missed age 27.....lol!

Yes. I actually just double checked on my profile here the other day because I wasn't quite sure if I was 31 or 32.

Hell to the no. I am clinging to every SECOND of 26. lol

    EDITED TO ADD:

I DO, however, accidentally start my weight in the 200s, still. At 169.8 and counting, I need to break the habit. XD

YES! Omg it is embarassing sometimes. I will be saying something about being 40 and my kids will look at me:huh:

    Uh mom? Your FIFTY!

I swear to God I do not feel a day older than I did at 40. Actually feel younger now that I am healthier and made some other life changes that have left me joyous. (happy is just not good enough:wink: )

Nope. I'm about to turn 40, and believe me, I never forget how old I am. Once you're my age, you'll understand.

I have a really hard time remembering that I'm 30. I've struggled with remembering my age since I was 18, but usually I can figure it out if I think about it for a second. But for the last 2 months I've been convinced that it's 2012, which screws up my math, and without doing the math I have absolutely no clue how old I am.

I have no husband or boyfriend. Why? Because I'm 41 but look 30. Seriously! Keep attracting the younger crowd. Sob/lol
  • I actually do. My husband is 2 years older than I am, plus 4 months. He turned 30 in August, and I've been thinking I'm 28 ever since, even though I still have 2 months before my own birthday.

My hubby does this a lot, makes himself older. The first time was when we were filling out tons of life insurance stuff and had to redo it! Ugh!

I look at it this way -- I feel young and healthy and I don't obsess over my age. I'm not ashamed of it, but I don't spend a lot of time agonizing over getting a year older when my birthday rolls around. I think that is why I tend to forget the exact number.

Or maybe I'm just getting forgetful in my "old age."

Well, I seriously did a double take when I saw your age on your profile. You look about 25.

I always have to subtract my birth year from the present year to figure out how old I am. I'm

    2011
    -1953
    58

    57. I'll be 58 in November.

I had my oldest son on my 25th birthday, and since then, i don't celebrate my birthday. in my 20's i obsessed about being 30, wanting to be finished having babies by then. between 30 and 40 I always had to quickly add 25 to my oldest's age for "how old am I?" but this summer, i turned 40 and it hit me like a ton of bricks when I first had to fill out "age" on a form...GAWD FORTY!!!
But i will be FABULOUS @ 40. just you wait and see.
  • Yup.. a couple of weeks ago, I said something about being 32 years old.. and a friend corrected me.. then yesterday at my sister's I said I was 30.. corrected again (I'm 31... I think :-P)

I don't forget how old I am (in fact I brag and say it took me 49 years to get here)....but I certainly forget to act my age sometimes, probably because I don't feel like I'm looking at 50!!!!

Well, sometimes I am 17 depending on what music I am listening too. I may be 23 another day...depends on mood. hee hee hee!

I don't feel like I should be 42. I feel like I should be in my 20's! I act goofy and dance around the house. I love to listen to music loud! I'm active and I feel energetic almost all of the time! I'm in better shape than my 25 year old boys and 17 year old daughter!

Well I'm 41... But my husband is much younger. Most people guess us about the same age which is great for me! But then I have to admit my age when they see pictures of my granddaughter... My youngest is 363 days older than my granddaughter. So I'm confused as hell about how old I am vs how old I look! So basically I told my husband when he catches up I'll start having birthdays again!
