I belong to a gym and meet with a personal trainer three times a week. How do I log those sessions? Most of the time we do a circuit with upper body one day, lower body one day and the third is usually total body ... I do about 20-30 mins of cardio before the session and 20-30 mins of cardio after the session .. (the "self cardio" is easy to log) but am not sure about the other.. We usually do 2 sets of a bunch of diff things, using various weights.. kettle bells, medicine balls.. etc.. She also sneaks somecardio and core into our sessions..

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Allison

If you have a heart monitor, you can figure out how many calories you burn. Create your own exercise and put in the calories that way.

I wear a HRM and created a custom log category for personal training sessions...

Heart Rate Monitor....log in as strength training under cardio and add the minutes you did and put in what the HRM said you burned.
  • i use to b a motivational trainer, but to to medical problems i cant work any more. but my dr. wants my to wrkout as much as i can. i loved training with kettlebells but wish they would put things like that in here. One thing u can do is ask ur trainer for a copy of ur work out so u can log it in as best as u can,i try to find thing that r as close to it as possible. Best of luck i new n looking for friends::))

  • Under cardio you have an option to select "circuit training"
