Hmmm I've read a million quotes so I'll just post the ones I recall xD Sorry I don't know the authors of most of them....some may be repeats of what people already said on here.
The best accessory a girl can own is confidence.
"Discipline is the difference between what you want now and what you want in the long run."
"A year from now you will wish you had started today."
“The pain you feel today will be the strength you’ll feel tomorrow..."
"Believe in yourself and know that you'll cross the finish line. No one can want it bad enough for you. You have to want it for yourself — and more than anything."
"Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels."
"For the first time ever, overweight people outnumber average people in America. Doesn't that make overweight the average then? Last month you were fat, now you're average - hey, let's get a pizza!" - Jay Leno
Nothing changes if nothing changes
Success is the best revenge. -Kanye
Do not give up what you want most for what you want at the moment.
IF YOU DO NOT SACRIFICE FOR WHAT YOU WANT, WHAT YOU WANT WILL BE THE SACRIFICE!!!
Craving is only a feeling.
NOTE: some of these are sort of weird.....but I'll post them here anyways just in case someone finds them helpful:
*Sacrifice is giving up something good for something better. Food is good; thin is better.
*You've come too far in life to take orders from a cookie!
*Not eating light makes your clothes tight.
*Food IS the DEVIL! It'll only bring you one step closer to looking like Fat *kitten*.
*Thin has a taste all its own.
*Calories can't make you happy.
*If it tastes good, It's trying to kill you.
*Success won't just come to you - it has to be met at least half way.
*Don't give up 5 minutes before the miracle.
*You have to believe in yourself. And you have to down deep within the bottom of your soul, feel that you can do the job that you've set out to do.
*An imperfect body reflects an imperfect person.
*I'm not starving myself... I'm perfecting my emptiness.
*We become like what we love.
*Don't give up what you want most for something you want in the moment.
*The secret of success is the consistency to pursue.
*When it comes to losing weight, those who can, do; those that can't make excuses.
*Everything depends upon the right action of the will.
*Don't eat. If you want to see food, look in the mirror at your thighs.
*You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it.
*The word is control. That's my ultimate - to have control.
*Eat to live, but don't live to eat.
*I don't take the first little bite; I don't begin. I have no problem.
*Every time you say "No Thank you", you say, "Yes Please" to Thin.
*Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.
*Don't do anything today that you'll regret tomorrow.
*The hungrier you are, the more fat you burn.
*Thinner is the winner! The difficulties and struggles of today are but the price we must pay for the accomplishments and victories of tomorrow.
The calories last lomger than the craving.
It's amazing what you can do when you try.
Yesterday you said tomorrow.
In twenty years you'll be more dissapointed by what you didn't do than by what you did.
* "The more you do it, the better you feel. The better you feel, the more you do it."
You get what you give, so give it your all!
I don't stop when I'm tired; I stop when I'm done.0 -
At the end of the day when you've come in under calories, had a good healthy days food, and felt good after doing some exercise - I always say to myself...
"You don't have to do it any harder tomorrow, you just have to do it again"
Makes the scary longer term goals a lot easier to deal with by dealing with them day by day!0 -
It may not seem motivational to most people, but it is to me: “Experience: that most brutal of teachers. But you learn, my God do you learn.”- C.S. Lewis
And I love :
Be the kind of woman that when your feet
hit the floor each morning the devil says
"Oh Crap, She's up!"0 -
Oh, and I love:
Just for today I will be happy. This assumes to be true what Abraham Lincoln said, that “Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be.”
Just for today I will be agreeable. I will look as well as I can, dress becomingly, keep my voice low, be courteous, criticize not one bit. I won’t find fault with anything, nor try to improve or regulate anybody but myself.0 -
