SO, I like to go hiking. There is a 5 mile loop hike nearby and it is VERY intense and VERY hilly. The first time I did the hike it took almost two hours...I have been doing it more and now I am able to do it is just over an hour and 15 mins. So, when i enter it in as hiking...because it takes less time it tells me i am burning less calories. Since I am working much harder now and gong the same distance shouldn't i be burning about the same amount of calories if not more?!?! I am so confused!!!
When it took me an hour it told be I burned 1,004 calories.
When it takes me 1 hr and 20 mins it tells me i burned 669 calories.
See? BIG difference!!! What do you think? How much do you think I am burning?

Get a Heart Rate Monitor and you will know for sure. No guessing.0

1000 calories for one hour? WOW....I have a hike I do....90 minutes yesterday and it was only 470 or so calories.......I would question 1000 calories in 60 minutes....if it is accurate...good for you...maybe mine is too low0
