1 Hour Zumba

Thinking about going to a Zumba 1 hour class and was wondering if anyone knows how many calories will I burn. I was trying to look under cardio, however it is not even listed.

    My instructor says she burns upto 1000 cals per hour! (she wears a HRM). I think this is high so I record between 400-500, depending on how hard I work.

    I dont do exacts for everything, I just guess as I just want a rough idea. Sorry cant be anymore help.x

    If it's a similar intensity to running you would burn about 100 calories for every 10 minutes.

    I usually burn 350-500, depending on how intense I am!! :)

    I would highly recommend getting a HRM, every body is different, that will give you the most accurate amount. They have a fairly inexpensive one at Walmart.
