Buyin 30 DS, any advice?

First I would like to start by thanking EVERYONE that has posted their 30ds pix. I NEVER would have done this in the past, hated working out or anything having to do with it. After being with MFP for a month, thanks to a good friend, I am suddenly yearning to buy this DVD and do it. I checked at my local store and they have it, so, Thursday I am buying it for myself and starting that journey. That will be perfect as that is my weigh day anyhow, so I will do measurements and all to have a go at it.
Any stories or advice anyone wants to share, please do!

Good luck0 -
I just finished my 30 DS last night!
Take before pictures and measurements.
Don't get bummed if you don't loose weight right away. Often when starting a new workout you retain more water. (this is where the measurements come in handy)
Keep moving! In level 3 I can't do the 'rock star' jumps because of bad ankles - so I just do butt kicks or high knees instead
Prepare to be sore for the first 3 days. It WILL get better and after that you won't be sore after your work outs or in the morning.
Don't be scared to move on to the next level after you've finished your current one. Just do it and kick butt!
Have fun and feel free to yell at your TV :P0 -
I just got mine last night in the mail! I'm starting tomorrow! I look forward to doing this, losing some weight, toning up, and looking better in my clothes! Best of luck to you! If you start a group let me know!0

I am on day 2 of level 1.... I think maybe I'm a little odd as I LOVE to feel some soreness, which is what I feel right now. I was intimidated when i heard people were in extreme pain after but that has not been my experience. I am so excited to continue this program.
In addition to the weights and the mat remember to have a towel and maybe water. I NEEDED that towel. lol0 -
Thank you all for the advice. I do have weights already and didn't know what all I would need, so that was extremely helpful. If there is anything else I will need, please do let me know and again, thank you all for your help!0
