I have Osgood Schlatters in both of my knees, my old doc, said it's very mild but can get worse. My chiropracter is no longer my chiropractor because of personal reasons, and haven't found a new one yet. Does anyone know of any stretches that will Sooth the pain and also prepare it for more vigerous workouts?

Kind of unusual for an adult to have Osgood Schlatter. Typically a problem of adolescents while growing and exercising. (and mostly boys). Also, the problem isn't really in the knees. It affects the bump on the front of the shin below the knee.

You might want to see a physician and reconsider what the diagnosis really is.

right, but it totally makes my knees hurt. That was the Diagnosis i got last year. My chiropractor would work it out for me twice a month. Do you think it was a misdiagnosis?

I would be surprised if it is correct.

I was diagnosed with Osgood Schlatter as a kid. Now, I have the same inflammation you're describing. It was diagnosed as patellar tendonitis, which is common when you heavily increase your exercise regimen without proper training or stretching. I'm unsure if it's related to my diagnosis as a kid, but it is what it is. In the early stages, the only cure is rest, ice/heat, and anti-inflammatories. You just need to try your best to keep good form when doing exercises and make sure to stretch very well before and after any workouts, specifically your hip flexors, and the muscles on the sides of your legs (I use a foam roller). If you don't take care of it in the early stages, surgery may be needed, so be careful. I choose not to take a rest from my workouts so it hasen't gone away. Best of luck to you!
