What is NSV?

I keep seeing everyone posting "threads" with NSV in the title somewhere... I cannot for the life of me figure out what it means.

    Non Scale Victory. Took me a few months to figure out what it was too.

    NSV = non scale victory!
    Like: fitting into smaller sizes, getting complimented Etc

    Most of us use the the number on the scale as a very visual reference to our progress. Sometimes, that scale number doesn't change much, but our bodies are still changing shape. So, NSVs are used instead of lb lost. If you suddenly find one day that you can now fit into those clothes you couldn't before, that's an NSV etc.
