The quicker you lose weight, the faster you can put it back on. Your body will get too used to what you are giving it so when you increase your intake, even a little, your body gets confused. If you are exercising too much, it's possible you are burning too much so your body is freaking out so it's holding onto as much fat as it can to keep going.

You can over work your body!! If you are working out more you need to eat more! Even if it is snacks etc. When your body has had enough it seems like it will shut down, and then you'll have to take a longer break beacuse it will take so much more time to recover. Remember rest is as important as exercise!!!

That sounds like a water/bathroom issue. Drink more water and it will even out. make sure and measure everything because exercise will put on muscle and burn fat and you won't see it on the scale.

    Measurements after:
    Bust: (right across nipples)
    Waist:
    Navel-line:
    Hips (widest part!):
    Calves: R- , L-
    Arms: (where they jiggle!) R- , L-
    Thighs: (widest part!) R- , L-
    Neck:

it is possible to exercise too much - make sure you take at least 1 day off a week to recover. also, exercise smarter, not harder. try to vary up your workouts. maybe run one day, do elliptical the next, take a class or do a workout DVD. this will ensure that your muscles won't adapt as quickly. when you keep repeating your workout, you will burn less calories because your muscles adapt.

i wasn't able to see your diary, but make sure that you are eating above your BMR every day (fat2fitradio.com has a great calculator for that), and add extra calories for your workout. while you don't necessarily need to eat all your calories back, it's important to eat enough so your body knows it can use the food for energy instead of storing it because it thinks it's famine time.

    good luck!

Yes, you can work too hard, but don't be overly concerned about it at the moment. The first few days after you begin working out, what you're really losing is mostly water weight. After the initial big loss, it slows down because that's when you start losing the "real" weight.

Not only is it possible but it is VERY common.

Without being able to see your diary, it's too hard to offer advice.

But, if you are below 1200 net calories that is your first clue. Also, you need more protein, especially when trying to lose weight and while exercising - under your Dr says otherwise. That along with fiber and lots of water are the keys.

    Best of Luck!

You might have lost a lot of water weight within the first few days as well...it's common to lose several pounds quickly if your body is not used to certain dietary changes or the it's not used to the amount of excercise you started doing. After the first few days have passed, it may take longer to see the same kind of weight loss results. But also, remember that many exercises will build your muscles and that may contribute to higher-than-expected numbers on the scale.
