Setting goals

Well I have just started with a two year study, they are checking on weight and nutrition and reacurance of breast cancer. So this was one of the web sites my girl recomended. I am three years clear. 48 yrs. married, no kids, two cats, work full time. 150lbs 5'4' and she even gave me a 1/2inch. My goals I really have not set. She is wanting me to walk 5-6 times a week starting at 30 mins and slowly adding up 60 mins. My thoughts are wow 5-6 hours a week! And with weight she asked me what I would like to weigh I said 130. I think this is reallstic and with the walking I think a long term goal I can live with.
I hate setting goals because if I don't make them I feel like why should I keep doing this?
Once I get going I do well I think I need some ideas? Have any?
